  Dear travelers,
  
  We are a family of five and live in a small village in southern Germany. We bought our house last year and have renovated it to the point where we can live comfortably in it. However, there is still a lot to do and the garden and the animals in particular need attention as well as our children, which is why we would be delighted to have an extra pair of helping hands from kind people who would like to live with us for a while. I myself was also a workawayer after graduating from high school and ennjoyed my stays with workaway very much. Now it's time for us to get to know the hosting side and to open our home and our family to travelers.

  Liebe Reisende,
  
  wir sind eine fünfköpfige Familie und wohnen in einem kleinen Dorf in Süddeutschland. Wir haben letztes Jahr unser Haus gekauft und es so weit renoviert, dass man gemütlich darin wohnen kann. Es gibt aber immernoch einiges zu tun und vor allem der Garten und die Tiere brauchen neben unseren Kindern Aufmerksamkeit, weshalb wir uns über tatkräftige Unterstützung von lieben Leuten, die eine Zeit bei uns wohnen möchten, freuen würden. Ich selbst war nach dem Abi auch als workawayer unterwegs und habe keine Aufenthalte sehr genossen. Jetzt ist es für uns an der Zeit, die andere Seite kennenzulernen und unser Haus und unsere Familie für reisende Menschen zu öffnen.

  With us, you are part of the family and we try to let you participate in our lives as much as possible - only as much as you want, of course. We are happy to take you on excursions at weekends or plan them together. On Sundays, you are cordially invited to join us for church services (in a baptist church).
  
  We will be happy to help you if you want to learn German and you can try your hand at many things here (whether as a babysitter, painting walls, renovating bathrooms, harvesting vegetables l, driving a mowing tractor or cooking).
  
  We hope that you will have a great time with us, from which we can all benefit equally.

  Bei uns bist du Teil der Familie und wir versuchen dich so gut es geht an unserem Leben teilhaben zu lassen - natürlich nur so viel, wie du möchtest. Gern nehmen wir dich an Wochenenden mit auf Ausflüge oder planen diese gemeinsam. Sonntags bist du herzlich eingeladen, mit uns in den Gottesdienst (in einer freikirchlichen Gemeinde) zu gehen.
  
  Wir helfen dir gern, wenn du Deutsch lernen möchtest und du darfst dich hier in vielen Dingen (ob als Babysitter, beim Wände streichen, Bad Renovieren, Gemüse ernten oder Kochen) ausprobieren.
  
  Wir hoffen, dass du bei uns eine schöne Zeit verbringen kannst, von der wir alle gleichermaßen profitieren können.

  Depending on whether we are looking for house sitters or support in everyday life, you would be solely responsible for our house and our animals or work with us as part of the family the chores that come up.
  
  Tasks can be:
  Looking after the chickens
  Gardening
  Help with building projects
  shopping
  cooking
  Household help
  Childcare
  
  Of course, we try to give you the tasks that you enjoy or areas in that you would like to learn something.

  Je nachdem, ob wir in der Zeit Haussitter*innen oder Unterstützung im Alltag suchen, wärst du allein für unser Haus und unsere Tiere verantwortlich oder arbeitest bei uns als Teil der Familie mit bei allem, was anfällt.
  
  Aufgaben können sein:

  Accommodation

  You will have our guest room with a large double bed and your own bathoom with shower. We prefer to eat our meals together, but you can help yourself in the kitchen at any time.
  
  Vegetarian and vegan meals are also possible.
  
  Fresh eggs and sourdough bread are always available :)
  
  Please be aware that with three littles and a cat there is noise an cat hair in our house.

  Du bekommst unser Gästezimmer mit großem Doppelbett sowie eigenem Duschbad. Die Mahlzeiten nehmen wir am liebsten gemeinsam ein, aber du darfst dich jederzeit in der Küche bedienen.
  Vegetarische und vegane Verpflegung ist auch möglich.
  
  Frische Eier und Sauerteigbrot stehen hier stets zur Verfügung :)
  
  Achtung: wir haben eine Katze und drei Kleinkinder. Tierhaare und laute Geräusche sollten kein Problem für dich sein.

  Our village is easily accessible by train and bus. You can take public transport to the nearest larger towns of Aalen, Schwäbisch Gmünd and Stuttgart, where you can go for a stroll. The Swabian Alb offers many beautiful routes for cyclists and hikers. A beautiful country path for walking starts on our doorstep.
  
  If possible, we will be happy to pick you up at the train station.
  
  Please know that we have young children (0,2,4 years old) so it can get noisy at our home.
  And we have a cat, so we can not accommondate people with allergies.

  Unser Dorf ist mit Zug und Bus gut erreichbar. Du kannst mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln in die nächstgrößeren Städte Aalen, Schwäbisch Gmünd und Stuttgart fahren, wo man gut bummeln kann. Für Fahrradfahrer und Wanderer bietet die Schwäbische Alb viele schöne Strecken. Vor unserer Haustür beginnt ein schöner Feldweg zum Spazierengehen.
  
  Wenn möglich, bringen/holen wir dich gern am Bahnhof.
  
  Bitte beachten: da unsere Kinder noch klein sind, kann es in unserem Haus auch mal laut werden.
  
  Und da wir eine Katze haben, solltest du keine Allergie haben.
