Eve and Jessica stayed with us for three weeks mainly helping us with gathering olives in the olive grove. Their help was invaluable as without them we could not have been able to take our olives to the oil mill on time before they would start spoiling. Apart from this task, for which we are most grateful, we enjoyed their company so very much

All in all we had a very good time together and would like to see them again whenever they decide to come back to Rome.
We stayed with Silvio and Karolina for 3 weeks and had the most amazing time with them. It was our first time using Workaway and they made us feel welcomed and at home right from the start. We helped out picking olives and whilst the work was hard, the experience felt less like a work exchange and more like we were a part of their family and we

Their beautiful house is situated in a stunning area which we loved exploring with Silvio. We also learnt a lot about Italian culture and cuisine through Karolina’s amazing cooking! She made sure we were well fed throughout our time there with delicious meals. They also always made sure we were okay by consistently checking up on our health and wellbeing.
When the time came to leave them, it was hard to say goodbye as we’d had such an amazing time with them and their two super cute dogs! But even when we left, they sent us off with a bag full of fresh mandarins from the garden and a load of travel tips for our next destination.
We couldn’t have wished for a better first experience using Workaway and are incredibly grateful for the time we spent here filled with laughs and new experiences! Thank you again!

Nanami left yesterday and we already miss her. She has been a wonderful Workawayer. She helped us with house chores lending a helping hand whenever needed. She cooked four fabulous Japanese meals in the almost four weeks she stayed with us. She has been a most pleasant company, discreet and respectfully friendly the way Japanese know spontaneously

They treated me like a real family member. They always cared about my health and mood, and if there was anywhere I wanted to go, they were happy to take me there by car or motorbike and introduce me to various places worth visiting. I felt like I was part of their family!
Their place was also incredibly beautiful, surrounded by nature and the sun

I talked and learned lots of things not only vocabulary but also culture, histories, origin of European language, and so on from Silvio. He has always been intelligent and kind.
I also fell in love with the deliciousness of the food Kalorína cooked. She always pays attention to ingredients and many of the vegetables come from their garden. She is always proactive and takes the initiative to do things. She also told me a lot about her friends and family and I really enjoyed talking with her!
They gave me the most wonderful time and experience! I really want to go back and see them again! I am truly grateful from the bottom of my heart! You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

This was our first experience at Workaway and we spent three months with Silvio. About the house itself, it really is an incredible and special place, worthy of movie landscapes. During our stay the house was under renovation, which we helped with, and I believe it is worth saying that even after completion, the interior of the house is not

The activities were very flexible and easy to do, although Karolina was reluctant to accept help and often preferred to do things alone, which was a little frustrating. With Silvio, we were able to spend many hours talking about our cultures, politics, stories and improving our Italian, which was rudimentary when we arrived, and with Silvio we were able to have a good laugh between conversations and learning. Something very important for me (Natália) was that, during our time together I had a health emergency and Silvio and Karolina provided all the necessary assistance and support, I am very grateful for that. One negative note about the experience was that we needed to leave the house for a week so they could receive family guests. Before we traveled, Silvio had said that they would have visitors, but that it would be possible to rearrange the rooms and that didn't happen. Another point that I believe is relevant to add for future workawayers is that Silvio and Karolina have a very light diet and do not have the habit of eating lunch, the kitchen is available and food was offered, but it may be necessary to buy food if you like to have lunch. We can only be grateful for the time we spent with them and all the experience and learning we had, we will remember Silvio forever and it will be a pleasure to meet him again. You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Nati and Thais stayed at our house for three months. During this time they proved to be excellent guests, helping with house chores and with the garden. They were also friendly and communicative bringing to our ambience a touch of Brazilian buoyancy. Being well educated they both made a fantastic progress in speaking Italian and adjusted easily to
