Description
Hey there !
We are Skyler (25) and Lance (27), a young married couple from South Africa. We both share a passion for travel, seeing new places, meeting new people and learning about different cultures and lifestyles.🤍
Skyler is an Occupational Therapist and Lance is a certified plumber. We both love our jobs but love to travel even more. Together we have travelled to 25 countries in 2 years. Our travel journey began with our first backpacking trip (as students) where we covered majority of Thailand and Cambodia and caught the "Travel bug" 😉. In 2023 we sold all our belongings and quit our jobs and travelled from South Africa to Egypt using public transport (except for flying over Sudan and Ethiopia). It was an INCREDIBLE journey!! We had planned to immigrate to Ireland after the "6 month trip" but once again couldn't shake the travel addiction, so instead found seasonal jobs in Austria for the winter ski season. This allowed us to become professional skiers 😉 (not), and some some money to continue travelling for abit. We had 1 month left on our schengen visa so we spent it travelling to a few European countries. We have now come to Turkey and will start heading towards central and SE Asia.
We both LOVE an adventure especially the spontaneous ones !! Skyler is abit of an adrenaline junkie but has slowly converted Lance over the years too 😅
Skyler has a passion for helping anyone in need, especially the disabled community as well as loves working with young kiddies. During the winter season in Austria she was Front of house and practiced skills of receptionist, service, guest relations and housekeeping.
Lance loves anything to do with using his hands to fix and create !! During the winter season Lance was a Full-time Chef and honed these new skills as well as being the part-time maintenance guy when needed.
We document our travels through photo and videos on Instagram and YouTube.

This has allowed us to become passionate about photography and videography as well as social media. During our travels we have provided content creation packages to make some extra money or in exchange for food and accommodation.
We loved all our workaway stays through africa and are excited for this next journey through the Asian countries. We started this workaway journey to learn about and immerse ourselves in a variety of cultures and experience travel together. We would like to make ourselves useful by providing our skills to anyone that may benefit. 🌈Interests
