Description
I am a young, hardworking person who loves to be outside and wants to explore other parts of the world. Coming from the Scottish countryside I love the mountains but would love to explore other huge wilderness. Having spent years working at a racing stables at home, I am really interested in working with horses abroad. As a stable jockey I had to ride 4-8 horses a morning, which was anything from trotting over poles to galloping in groups up the gallops. I then had to muck out, turn out, feed etc. I grew up next to a farm so have some limited experience helping on the farm (during lambing season) and have a lot of respect for farmers, and thus would like to further understand it.
I am a very fit person, spending most of time outdoors ; running, cycling, swimming, walking.
Having already worked abroad, I know that I really enjoy learning and understanding other ways of life by being directly involved in work. I find travelling without doing this quite challenging as I enjoy the feeling of being involved.
I get on well with everyone from all backgrounds - having had multiple jobs, from working on shoots to waitressing, data analysis to volunteering in refugee camps. I truly can talk to anyone, and get by regardless of language barriers. I speak nearly fluent French (I lived and studied in France for a year - C1 level) and beginner Spanish A1/A2.

I am interested in learning a language. I really enjoy the daily challenge of language learning. I am quite a quick learner, as having previously learned a language, I understand that the best way to learn is to try and to make mistakes.

Skills: experienced racehorse rider, experienced stablehand. Experience babysitting, working as a cleaner in a hotel, many customer service rolls. Worked rurally; worked on pheasant shoots including driving quadbike and working dogs, and as a kid been a helping hand on farms. Uni degree: law.
