Hi, I’m Sara, originally from Hamburg, Germany. I started my Workaway journey in January 2020 because I didn’t want to travel like a typical tourist. Workaway offers me a chance to explore the world, live with locals, and learn about their traditions, all while contributing through meaningful work.

I enjoy getting my hands dirty and trying new things. I believe in a balance of giving and receiving — not just taking, but actively helping. For me, Workaway is about mutual respect, where both host and volunteer understand that this is a voluntary exchange, not paid labor.

I value the opportunity to live with and learn from people in different parts of the world. I’m looking for places where there’s a fair exchange of knowledge, experiences, and help. I think everyone has their own unique story, and I enjoy connecting with others through meaningful conversations.

Skills & Experience:

I’ve worked on family farms in both Germany, France and Argentina and Chile, gaining experience in animal care, gardening, and outdoor work. I’m always eager to learn new skills and embrace new challenges.

Hobbies & Interests:

I love art, sports, good food, and spending quality time with others. Healthy food and Chocolate are y personal favorite! I enjoy creative activities and deep conversations, and I believe in treating the planet and its people with kindness and respect.

After school I worked in a company where I sew clothes for the rescues about 5years.

After that I worked in a big company in line for one year.

I needed something different in my life.

I moved to Hamburg and did there an apprenticeship for medicine pedicure and Manicure and massage.

I worked in this great job one year and went on my worldtour.
