Description
Hola, nice to meet you!
I am Santiago, a Sustainable Development Engineering student from Mexico City. My passion in life is life itself. I love to enjoy the simple moments in it and specially, to share them with others. Back in home, I spend most of my time with friends & family, listening to music, watching movies, or playing with the 4 wonderful dogs that live with me.
Right now I'am beginning what I call: a journey with purpose. Visiting many social or environmental projects around the world, to learn about ways in which we can do things better for our society and planet. I have already gone through my first stop, Australia, and I'm now looking forward to find projects in Indonesia and Vietnam to learn from.
What I love the most about travelling is getting to know people, inmersing myself in the local food, nature and culture, and more than anything, learning in the way. Which is why, I feel workaway has been the perfect fit for me, because it allows me to travel the way that I love, and do it all with purpose by having a positive impact and learning wherever I go.

More details about your skills
Although most of my background is in Environmental Engineering (technical skills), I have participated in other volunteerings in the past that involved working hand by hand with agricultors, eco-construction and teaching in a middle school. Besides, I am one of those people that are always eager about learning and developing new skills. They say life is not about doing what you love, but loving what you do, and I truly believe that.
