Description
My name is Sam, and I am from the middle of the USA. I am on my first overseas trip. In April 2026 I was backpacking in Italy for a few weeks, then in Munich I started bicycle touring. I am currently riding around Germany.
After having traveled solo for almost two months, I am looking for something different. I would like to contribute to something, learn valuable skills, meet great people.
I have a tent and camping gear, and am willing to do any kind of meaningful work. I have done some Conservation forestry work in the USA, and would like to learn more about outdoor skills. (Gardening, carpentry, anything). I hope to have some incredible times :) -

I am 19, and thus do not have any great career skills. However, I have invested much of my time into learning crafts and adventure travel.
I worked in a two month Conservation program called VYCC, where we worked in a small team to complete forestry projects such as removing invasive species. We camped during the weekdays and cooked food for each other. (I consider myself a decent cook)
I know how to create wallets, bags, etc. out of leather, and I'd be very interested to learn woodworking.
I've done two long-distance bicycle tours across my home state and other nearby states -

I can't recommend them enough!
He was reliable, conscientious and hard working. Whilst he is perhaps not a "natural" to farm work he applied himself to every task , listened carefully to instructions and completed tasks well.
