Description
Hello! I’m 22 and from North West England. I recently finished university where I studied Zoology, and after that I spent nine months living in Gibraltar while doing an internship at a wildlife park.
I’m now looking to travel, meet new people and experience different places and cultures. I can be a little quiet when I first meet people, but once I’m comfortable I’m pretty easy-going and enjoy having a laugh, going out, exploring new places and having a few drinks.
I’m really interested in animals and wildlife, but I also want to use travelling as a chance to try completely different things. I’m happy doing practical work, helping outdoors, working with animals, helping around hostels or guesthouses, gardening, maintenance or just getting involved wherever I’m useful.
Outside of work I like going to the gym, gaming, reading, wildlife, travelling and going out with friends. Mainly, I’m hoping Workaway will help me meet interesting people, see places properly rather than just passing through, and have some good experiences along the way. -

More details about your skills
I’ve got a mix of animal care, customer service and practical outdoor experience. I studied Zoology at university and then spent nine months working at a wildlife park in Gibraltar, where I helped with animal care, feeding, cleaning, enrichment, enclosure maintenance and general day-to-day jobs.
I’ve also worked in customer service for several years, so I’m comfortable speaking to people, working in a team and helping out in busy environments.
At the moment I’m doing practical outdoor work building and repairing paths, so I’m used to physical work, working outside and getting stuck into hands-on jobs. I can also paint and I’m comfortable using basic tools such as drills, saws and hammers.
I’m happy helping with animals, cleaning, gardening, painting, basic maintenance, outdoor work, hospitality or general jobs around a hostel, guesthouse or project. I learn quickly and I’m happy to try things I haven’t done before. -

What else ...
Outside of work I’m into reading, gaming, going to the gym, wildlife and exploring new places. I’m especially into fantasy, RPGs and Dungeons & Dragons, so I’m always happy to talk about games, books or anything fantasy-related.
I also enjoy going out for drinks, meeting new people and being social, although I’m equally happy having a quieter evening. I’m usually up for joining in with whatever people are doing, whether that’s exploring somewhere new, going for a hike, playing games, going out or just hanging around and chatting. -
