Hi! We’re Rosie and Andy

We are taking a sabbatical from our career jobs starting in July 2026 and cannot wait to get out and meet new people, experience different cultures and support others.

We currently live in Dubai, which is where we have called home for the last four years. We are both from countryside villages in the North of England which has given us a love of nature.

Rosie - I am a qualified and registered paediatric mental health nurse with over 10 years of experience working with children.
I love being around children of all ages and very much enjoy arranging and participating in creative, educational and wellbeing focused activities.
I am an active and sporty person and love the outdoors (when the sunshines!).

Andy - I am a chartered accountant which means I have excellent excel skills and maths skills. When I’m not sat at my desk I like to be playing sport or exercising. Rosie and I met whilst climbing but my passion is football (watching/playing/thinking about!). In 2017 I travelled across America coaching children’s football with an organised sports group. During this time I stayed with the families partaking in the camp which gave me the opportunity to soak in the culture as well as make lasting relationships.

We are both personable, fun and bubbly and we look forward to meeting likeminded others!

We both love to chat and get to know others, enjoying learning about other people’s life experiences and ways of living, as well as sharing experiences of our own.

We both love sports:
- climbing
- football
- badminton and padel
- water sports, including kayaking and padel boarding
- horse riding

Gardening has become a passion and we have enjoyed planting a small veg garden on our balcony as well as tending to gardens in the UK.

Andy has experience of working as a farm hand during school summer holidays, which included tasks such as weeding, laying irrigation and general farm tasks.

Andy is Teaching English as a Foreign Language qualified, as well as maths, finance and computer skills developed through his career in accounting.

Rosie has extensive experience in children’s mental health, development and wellbeing.
