Hello I am happly in a gap year, I have a work pause from my school job as a teacher , and up for travelling and be part of a nice project .
I've been working in primary school for more than 25 years and 10 were spent teaching in different countries for the Italian Public School abroad.
Once back in Italy , I just couldn't stop in one place for long (I feel a bit nomadic), nor stop learning...in the past two years I attended school and courses to become a specialized gardener as an urban green operator and later as an art gardener for historical parks.

I feel a traveller better than a tourist .

Volunteering is such a nice way to travel, getting in touch with locals ,knowing, sharing, participating and helping like-minded people. I've had amazing experiences worldwide with some associations, working for solidarity, eco projects, children in need and more.

I'm fine with any kind of job and you can read my skills below.
I got an international diploma as a professional gardner, so Iook forward for this kind of job.
I'm a nature lover, so would be happy to work in contact with.
Plants are my great passion, I'm quiet skilled with them . Also I know some permaculture principles and would love to learn more.

I've been working with tourists for long time as a receptionist and as a tour leader, later I've ran a b&b in Rome for many years.

When I was a student I used to work in bars and restaurants (my father also had one when I was younger).

I don't mind fisical work, can do simple maintenance ;
I'm a house lover, I really like to take care in order to have a tidy, clean, welcoming, cozy atmosphere at home. People appreciate my taste in the settling and decoration domain.



I'm a volunteer and a host as well. I had the chance to host a girl for 6 months in Rome.

I've been often living and working in team and communities and helped out in social, eco, educational, artistic projects as well as an activist as part of grassroot movements .

I love my bicycle and try to spread the love for it in polluted cities .

I love yoga and meditation.
I love arts and especially music, photo and cinema and have some manual arty skills.

My creativity also goes with cooking , which I really love and Is much appreciated. I can prepare healthy delicious food, mainly plant based but not strictly, that goes from traditional italian to exotic or macrobiotic.

I love to play and dance with my hula hoops!
I'm quite good with crochet and can create anything with It.
