Description
Growing up on the tropical island of Tobago inspired a love for plants and the natural world. These experiences inspired me to pursue a career in rainforest rehabilitation and creating sustainable comunities which can work along side these vital systems instead of destruction for short term gain. I completed a botany degree this year and now want to get out into the world and explore the many cultures and lifestyles out there.
I love being thrown into a new environment and excel at meeting new people its these experiences which drive me in life!
I am an avid rock climber, and sailor of which pushes the potential of sights and experiences. Not only this but I also enjoy fishing and fossil collecting. I have a passion for ever aspect of the natural world and a thirst to know something about everything I see. This often leads to me spouting random facts to unsuspecting victims as I love inspiring others to gain interest!

More details about your skills
As mentioned I have a 1st class degree in botany which covered a large range of topics such as ecology, soil management, plant processes and agricultural practices.
The past few summers I worked as an outdoor instructor, teaching bush craft skills to children. These camps were residential with whole year groups coming to stay anywhere between 1-5 days. This meant not only was I a teacher but also a pastoral figure as children, especially post Covid lockdown hadn't been away form home before so resulted in a lot of tears!
I would teach fire building, knife skills and nature walks just to name a few! Another role I would take would be as camp field cook. This involved solely me catering for up to 120 kids, cooking three hot meals a day and snack all made from scratch.
Prior to university I worked as a painter and decorator/restorer. This provided me with a lot of hands on experience not only painting but also wood work and other construction skills.
