Originally from England, I lived in London in the 90s, then Palma de Mallorca from 2000-2013 and Amsterdam since 2013. Mainly worked as a teacher: of Maths and English as a second language. I now host Airbnbers and do voluntary work. Since lockdown I've been helping at a local city farm, currently involved in a composting project. My own small back yard now a busy garden.

I've had a regular yoga practice for 20+ years, vinyasa, Ashtanga, hot. I've done yoga teacher trainings but haven't taught. Largely vegan now which has developed interest in cooking and nutrition. I write, make art. I cycle everywhere. Own two cats: Banksy and Trevor, or they own me.

Having lived in Spain and the Netherlands, probably more frank than average English person. I enjoy good conversation. Self-motivated, like to be useful.
Planning a retreat/bnb project and looking for inspiration/guidance/new skills.

Lots of teaching experience: TEFL and Mathematics to pre-university. I've studied Mathematics, Spanish, Education, Neuropsychology and Creative Writing at university level. Computer skills and all that relates to running own small business and maintaining a home. I've built and knocked down walls, painted, plumbed in a toilet, built several benches, cupboards and a sideboard. Writing skills. Can cook a bit. Avant gardener.

An interesting, peaceful experience. I regret that my poor German language skills meant I couldn't communicate as well as I'd have liked to, but mashing up English and Dutch and kinder Deutsch I managed. Actually very restful, not having to talk too much.

Enjoyed my time at Michael's a lot, wish it could have been longer. A beautiful sense of community, awesome people, good food, wonderful views and walks and the animals. Opened me to new possibilities and allowed me space and time to relax. The work was as fun as everything else. Thank you!
