Description
Hi! I’m Petra from the Czech Republic.
I’m a calm, curious and open-minded person who feels happiest outdoors and close to nature. I love gardening, working with soil and learning how food can be grown in a way that works with nature rather than against it.
Recently I’ve been volunteering three months on an organic farm in northern Spain, Galicia, where I gained practical experience in gardening, agroforestry and syntropic agriculture. I helped with planting and propagating plants, preparing and maintaining beds, processing syntropic forest, harvesting and preparing for weekly market and general farm work.
I still have a lot to learn and would love to deepen my knowledge of organic farming, permaculture, regenerative agriculture, syntropy, perennial crops and soil health.
I would like to create a small regenerative farming project of my own one day, so I’m particularly interested in learning from experienced farmers and seeing how different farms work in practice.
I am also interested about different perspectives and ways of life.
I’m responsible, respectful and independent, but I also enjoy sharing meals, conversations and everyday life with the people I’m staying with. -
