Talking to native Portuguese speakers as much as possible, making the effort to speak Portuguese even if the people I'm talking to might speak French or English. I've been using duolingo for 1 year, and I'm going to buy a small guide to the Portuguese language. Why not sign up for Portuguese lessons if I'm an au pair?

I was in the Scouts and I'm resourceful in a lot of ways.
At home, I helped my parents do a lot of the work when we moved house and I'm currently building a terrace in my garden with my brother.
I garden from time to time, and I've already had some experience of permaculture.
