Description
Hi, my name is Paula.
I am 27 years old and from Germany. After completing my training as a children’s nurse, I decided to study Biology and recently finished my Bachelor of Science. Before starting my Master of Science in Humanbiology, I want to take some time to travel, meet new people, experience adventures, and improve my English skills by using the language in everyday life and learning it first hand.
When I was a child, my family grew their own vegetables and kept chickens, so being surrounded by animals and working in the garden has always been something I truly enjoy. Nature in general is very important to me. In the past, my scout group and I supported a sustainability project in Kenya, but this would be my first time traveling alone, so I am very excited for the adventure.
I would describe myself as an open-minded and warm-hearted person who is always up for a laugh, while also being reflective, reliable, and happy to help others :) -

More details about your skills
I love cooking and baking, especially vegetarian and vegan dishes, and I enjoy creating meals for others. Growing up, I spent a lot of time gardening with my mother and at school, where I learned how to grow vegetables and appreciate working with nature.
I was also part of the Scouts for many years, which gave me the opportunity to travel, meet different people, and become comfortable working and living in a community. I am good at adapting to new environments and enjoy being part of a team.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and will start my Master’s program in Human Biology at the end of this year. Before my studies, I completed training as a pediatric nurse and worked on a neonatal intensive care unit, where I learned responsibility, patience, and how to care for others. -
