Hi!

I am Paula , an 18-year old girl from Germany.
I just graduated high school in July 2025 and now desire to fulfil my childhood dream of travelling the world , experiencing new cultures , learn new languages and build connections with people from all over the globe.

I am a very sporty person who loves to be outdoors and spend time in nature. I‘ve been playing tennis, skiing and doing track&field since I was little. I enjoy working and spending time with like - minded people , especially engaging with children is something I really enjoy.
Furthermore I love spending time with and learning about animals - especially horses and dogs ;)


I have been fortunate enough to travel to many different places with my family and friends as well as by myself, especially in Europe, whether it be the Austrian mountains, the Spanish coast, or Canadian countryside. In Workaway, I see an opportunity to broaden my horizons and fulfill my desire of adding many many more unforgettable experiences to this list! Not only do I want to experience new cultures and get to meet new people , I‘d love to help where help is needed, make an impact and travel while doing something meaningful .

I am fluent in German as it is my mother tongue , as well am I in English. I would be able to teach either of these languages. Furthermore I know the basics of Spanish. I would love to broaden my linguistic horizon and especially improving my Spanish.

I am an open - minded ,empathic person who enjoys working in a team , as well as working with children. However , I can as well work independently and on my own responsibility. I have gained various experience in working with children and animals through my internship in an elementary school , working in children summer camps as well as assisting riding lessons at my local riding school where I took lessons myself for 10 years . I do have a sport's assistance license and reached level C2 in the Cambridge certificate exam - so communication should not be a problem ;)
