Description
Hey!!
My name is Pau and I'm 22 years old. I live in a small city in the province of Barcelona, Spain. Currently, I’m studying architecture at Escola Tècnica Superior de Catalunya (ETSAB).
I come from a fairly large family, so I've got used to sharing spaces, spending time with others, and helping in daily routines. I’m curious, enthusiastic, and calm, and I really enjoy connecting with people and learning from them.
I love simple, everyday experiences, spending time outdoors, and being part of group activities. I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands, whether it’s organizing, cooking, or helping with practical and creative tasks.
I’m open to doing a workaway anywhere in the world, as I enjoy experiencing new places and cultures. Althouht, right now, I must admit I'm especially interested in Japan for a few reasons.
My interest in Japan goes beyond tourism. I was close to going as an Erasmus student but had to cancel for family reasons, so this opportunity is very meaningful to me. I’m also learning Japanese and excited to experience daily life while contributing in meaningful ways to my host.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring nature, volunteering, photography, and discovering new perspectives through hands-on experiences. I’m reliable, respectful, and always happy to help wherever I can. -

More details about your skills
I’m a reliable, trustworthy, and organized person, and I always take pride in doing a job well — whether it’s creative, practical, or simply lending a helping hand where needed. I’m enthusiastic about learning new skills, open to feedback, and happy to work independently or as part of a team.
Over the years I’ve gained experience in teamwork and practical tasks through daily life, volunteering and scouting.
For example, I participated in a small archaeological excavation of a small Roman villa in Toledo. Where I helped with careful digging, cataloguing findings, and documenting the site. This experience taught me patience, attention to detail, teamwork, and how to contribute effectively in a hands-on project.
I spent time assisting in daily activities at an elderly residence in Bergara. I organized games and social activities, spending time talking and playing with residents. This experience strengthened my communication skills, empathy and also created very fun memories.
I have been involved in scouting for 10 years at AEiG Jaume Caresmar i Mª Antonia Salvà. There, i spent 7 years as a kid followed by 3 years as a monitor. Then, I had the opportunity to led activities, organize outings and supervise children; fostering teamwork, responsibility, leadership and problem-solving skills. These years taught me how to guide, support and motivate others in a positive way.
Finally, at home I enjoy helping my family with cooking, cleaning, and outdoor activities. I love hands-on tasks, whether it’s preparing meals, organizing spaces, or helping with practical projects. -
