We currently live in Montreal, and we are looking to spend the spring/summer in BC ! Laurane would like to discover more of Canada before the end of her work-holiday visa

Noémie -
I've been living in Quebec for about 10 years, where I've studied and worked in agriculture (organic veggie farming) for the most part, and i also spent a year travelling and working in New-Zealand.

I love being outdoors and close to nature, i try going on hikes when i can.
I like working hands-on jobs because it provides me with a sense of purpose and usually involves team-work, which i value.
I've recently done some volunteer work in a school where i was paired with a student to support him every week, and loved creating a connection with him and the rest of the volunteers/students.

I'm crafty and enjoy music (i play guitar), and I like learning new skills whether it be artistic (very interested in starting pottery or wood working) or learning new languages!

Laurane -
I'm originally from France but i've travelled around, mostly in latin America (I did a study abroad program in Mexico and loved it!). I love experiencing new places and getting to meet interesting people. I especially enjoy cooking for or with people.

In my free time I enjoy arts and crafts like lino printing or watercolor.

I can be quite organized and focused but i also love to relax and enjoy slow times.

Noé's experiences are mostly in small scale and medium scale veggie farming (mostly organic);
Experience in dairy farming and fruit-picking (in NZ); Manual labor (DIY projects and power hand tools, i helped build a house )

Laurane has worked in many restaurants and cafes as a barista and a cook (her go-to is mexican food!)
