    Description

    Hi there!
We live in a beautiful place in Guatemala between Livingston and Rio Dulce. Our place used to be marina bar and restaurant.
Recently we started building bungalows to host cool people and share our home.

We are looking for volunteers who are not party animals as this place is in a quiet little village in the middle of the river rio dulce. No stores around. Local small restaurants across our place.

We invite fun and conscientious people to help us finish the hostel part. Give us 5 hours a day and we will provide you with bed and food (family style, often vegetarian).
The help is very basic, some shopping, greeting clients when or if they show up, plant flowers, help in the kitchen, keep the place clean.
We have kayaks that you will be able to use to explore nearby bay's, soak in agua caliente hot springs, visit hot sulphur cave, unlimited swimming in the river and we sometimes take you sailing when we go .

We are in the progress of setting up activities like day sailing, kayaking, hiking tours and anything entertaining and attractive for tourist to see our region and we welcome input into these activities as well.

Our first language is english, but for the volunteer to speak spanish as well is a plus.
This would also help a lot for the volunteer to interact with our local community who are very welcoming and consist of spanish descendants and ki chi indians.

    We welcome girls and couples.
