Description
Hi, I’m Noah! I’m finishing my Master of Social Work degree in Canada and I’m excited to step into new environments, meet new people, and challenge myself in meaningful ways. I’d describe myself as kind, curious, and caring with a genuine interest in supporting others in any way I can and learning from different cultures and communities.
I haven’t done Workaway before, but I’ve heard great things and really want to experience it for myself. I’m hoping to step outside my comfort zone, contribute to meaningful projects, and connect with people rather than just visit places.
Working as part of a team brings me a lot of joy, and I really value collaboration, communication, and showing up for others. At the same time, I’m also independent, reliable, and happy to take initiative when needed.
I love being outdoors, staying active, and spending time in nature, and I feel happiest when I’m present and truly experiencing where I am. I’m really looking forward to my first Workaway adventure, meeting great people, learning new things, and hopefully giving as much as I get along the way.

More details about your skills
I bring a strong mix of practical skills, teamwork, and independent problem solving, shaped by some pretty adventurous experiences. I worked at a fishing lodge in the Canadian Arctic Circle as a shoreman, helping keep everything running smoothly through general maintenance like painting cabins, cutting grass, managing garbage, fixing day-to-day issues, receiving fuel from planes, and even doing “wolf runs” ask me about it if you’re curious! I’ve also worked in a various group home seetings for children and adults with disabilities, where I cooked, cleaned, administered medication, supported daily routines, and helped create a safe and supportive environment. I’m adaptable, reliable, and always happy to jump in wherever I’m needed.
