Hi I'm Nina,
I recently graduated from school and am now keen to travel around the world during my gap year:)
I feel like I have spent the last months learning a lot of things that have helped me to get a good final grade but contributed not much to my general knowledge.
So I decided that now is the time to finally spend my time improving my knowledge on topics I myself am interested in like how to cook a proper meal, how to take care of different kinds of plants or also learning Italian and improving my English skills!
I‘d also love to learn about yoga, the practice of meditation and being more mindful in general because I think having a healthy relationship with yourself is the most powerful thing to achieve.
I have lived my whole life in Munich, Germany, but luckily thanks to my parents I had the opportunity to visit a variety of countries over the years.
I have spent three months in Ireland living with a host family and I gained a lot from this experience.
But most of all I realized in this time how much I enjoy immersing myself into a different culture and stepping out of my comfort zone.
I am very open and love getting to know other people. Additionally I am able to quickly adapt to new environments.
I like being outside on my feet and am much more resistant than one might think judging my appearance.
If you would ask me what I enjoy most then the answer would be very simple: the sun.
Summing up I am looking forward to a lot of experiences this year (and also negative ones can be helpful at the end) and make new friends all over the world!Interests

I would absolutely love to improve my Italian skills! I learnt Italian for three years in school but I feel like I am already loosing it because I had less opportunity to speak it the last years. Also any possibility of refreshing my English would be great!Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn

In general I am very good around people.
I’ve had three different jobs regarding selling and am now employed at the Viktualienmarkt, a local and popular food market in the Centre of Munich.
I find myself very much enjoying being in contact with the customers and have received a lot of positive feedback so far.
Moreover I am an animal lover, I know how to handle alpacas (I grew up with two of them) and am happy to take dogs out for a walk:)
I would describe myself as a creative person, art was always one of my favorite subjects, I have fun restaurating old furniture I find on fleamarkets and have learnt to chrochet my own clothes.
In addition I am organized, reliable, and able to handle things on my own.Age
