Description
I came to Spain from Wales quite a long time ago, have a lovely garden in a large plot of land which also has a variety of fruit trees, all of this needs a lot of attention not to mention maintaining the house itself.
The finca is by the river and in a most beautiful area with fantastic walks from the door, 8kms in each direction to 3 lovely villages. Or walking over the mountain to Guaro not so long in Kms but needs energy!
My first time to ask for help was Spring 2015, since then I have enjoyed various helpers who have all been wonderful workers and companions
I and my 5 dogs are enjoyed the experience and friendships enormously.( now only 3 dogs 2019)
As it gets seriously hot here my next request for help would be from mid October to March/April. This is for general repair work, painting and gardening. Including strimming and logging as a knowledge of machinery would be useful,
Also any Apple geniuses would be welcome.
I prefer to take couples and also with a car as transport is extremely limited.

Studio with one king size bed for one or two persons with large private area to rear.

Coin sits on the northern foot of the Sierra de Mijas, inland Málaga, overlooking the spectacular Guadalhorce valley, one of the most fertile areas in southern Spain, where the beautiful landscape is covered in orchards and farmland and affords beautiful mountain views.
The town itself has grown in popularity and has become a destination for foreign residents, wanting to live in a more authentic Andalucian environment. The town offers good shopping, dining and leisure facilities and is located just 20 minutes drive from the coastal town of Marbella.
Coin offers an escape from the typical Costa del Sol seaside resort and is a good jump off point to see other areas of inland Andalusia.
I can pick you up at the bus stop in Coin, 15 minutes from the Finca,
(buses from Malaga, Marbella and Fuengerola to Coin approx. every hour))

Pedro was a lovely gentleman.
He persevered with the horrible job of stripping leaves from many yuccas, coped with slow wi fi , cold nights and mornings yet too hot sun whilst he worked away.
Very polite and punctual and never complained about my cooking!!!

We had a great time at Lina's. She is a wonderful person. We stayed for 3,5 weeks at her finca. The work was varied and more than fair. We took care of her lovely 5 dogs, did various jobs in the beautiful garden and did some painting in her house! Highly recommended and we wish all the best!!

This was my first workaway experience and I truly enjoyed every minute. Lina and Frank were lovely hosts and we shared some wonderful meals and conversations. The studio was perfect and the variety of tasks made the days just fly. I will certainly be back to visit next time I'm in Spain.

Such a wonderful couple. Delightful to be with. Lucas so charming and well mannered, Fanny also and a great artist.
They worked extremely hard at all the jobs they were given and did them well.
