Description
From the US, but now based in Spain. I'm a self-employed equine professional that runs my own business. Previously for 24 years ran a horse farm in the pacific northwest of the US. I was involved in all aspects of property maintenance, manual labor, office work, bookkeeping, website maintenance, plus horse training, lessons, and horse behavior clinics on our 20-acre farm in a remote area, close to the Canadian border.
I travel with my homeschooled older teen (he'll graduate two years early in October.) We live a clean life, and used to grow much of our own food.
We used to spend winters based in the warmth of Arizona, and also two months working abroad on humanitarian projects and as part of my son's education and exposure/immersing into other cultures. Past trips included the South Pacific, South America, Asia, and the Caribbean for a variety of reasons...
Professionally I now work doing remote coaching worldwide (I must have access to quality WIFI). Please ask for my business website to learn about my training philosophies. I've also worked as a Divemaster in Thailand, I have basic knowledge of running heavy equipment, am motivated and independent hard work- physical labor doesn't scare me, am computer literate, cook, clean, and appreciate the simple things in life. As a side "hustle," I've taught English to business executives around the world for the last five years.
I'm open to various opportunities including being around traditional horse/cattle ranches, to city experiences. Open to house/pet sitting (have references from multiple websites,) helping with property or animal care, teaching English, cultural activities, etc.
I've been traveling internationally for 30 years.
We are flexible, adaptable, vegetarian, non smoking, and open to a variety of opportunities.
