Hi! I’m Narmada, originally from Sri Lanka and now loving life in France. I just finished my Master’s in BioHealth Engineering at Université Grenoble Alpes, and when I’m not studying or working, you’ll probably find me hiking in the Alps, exploring hidden trails, or getting lost in a new city.

I’m passionate about nature, gardening, sustainable living, and meeting people from all walks of life. I adore learning new languages (currently working on my French!) and discovering cultures through food, stories, and shared adventures. I can’t wait to be part of a beautiful project, lend a hand, and create memories along the way!
Bonjour ! Moi c’est Narmada, je viens du Sri Lanka et je profite maintenant de la vie en France. Je viens de terminer mon Master en BioHealth Engineering à l’Université Grenoble Alpes. Quand je ne travaille pas, on peut me trouver en randonnée dans les Alpes, en train d’explorer de nouveaux sentiers ou de me perdre dans une ville inconnue.

J’adore la nature, le jardinage, la vie durable et les rencontres avec des gens du monde entier. J’aime aussi apprendre de nouvelles langues (je perfectionne mon français !) et découvrir des cultures à travers la cuisine, les histoires et les aventures partagées. J’ai hâte de rejoindre un beau projet, d’aider et de créer de beaux souvenirs !

Although my background is mostly scientific, I grew up helping my family with all sorts of hands-on tasks—gardening and growing vegetables, painting walls, fixing up bedrooms, and lending a hand in the kitchen. I really enjoy practical work and the physical challenges it brings.

I’m also a research student with experience in science (and happy to chat if anyone’s curious about cancer research 😊). I’d love to learn more about sustainable gardening, farming, and ways to live closer to nature, while meeting new people, sharing cultures, and learning from each other.
Même si j’ai surtout un profil scientifique, j’ai grandi en aidant ma famille dans plein de travaux pratiques : jardiner et cultiver des légumes, peindre des murs, rénover des chambres, ou encore donner un coup de main en cuisine. J’aime vraiment ce type de travail et le défi physique que cela apporte.

Je suis aussi étudiante-chercheuse en sciences (et je serais ravie d’en discuter si quelqu’un s’intéresse à la recherche sur le cancer 😊). J’aimerais beaucoup en apprendre davantage sur le jardinage durable, l’agriculture, et les façons de vivre plus proche de la nature, tout en rencontrant de nouvelles personnes, en échangeant nos cultures et en apprenant les uns des autres.
