Hello, we are Nadia and Liam!

We come from Ottawa and Montreal, Canada, and we are travelling to Ireland this summer. We are excited to learn about Irish culture and to experience the traditional music and beautiful nature that the country has to offer! We are both very interested in gardening and community-related activities. We are sociable and eager to meet new people and discover everything around us. We love the outdoors and exploring - hiking, camping, biking, you name it.

We both studied agricultural engineering and have good hands-on skills. Nadia has experience in agricultural work, customer service, and food and cider production. Liam has experience working with various machinery and tools as well as fixing boats. We both have worked in roles that involved taking initiative and we are both self-sufficient people. We are eager to learn new skills and ways of living!

We love cooking, baking, and hanging out with others, but we are happy to do our own thing. In our spare time, we complete our own projects (woodworking, knitting, crafting, metalwork) and we love to go out for live music and dancing - but we also love a relaxed night in.

We have a variety of experiences and skills. We have good hands-on abilities with tools and machinery.
Nadia has agricultural experience (weeding, tractor operation, planting, harvesting, irrigation) and has driven large trucks and vehicles. She has also worked in customer service and at an ice cream shop, making ice cream and baked goods. Liam was a sailing instructor and guided sailing camps, and has worked with boats, engines, building maintenance and construction.

We both know how to weld (but are not amazing at it), use power tools, complete 3D drawings, and have driver's licenses. Liam has experience in painting, soldering, engine maintenance, and woodworking. Nadia knows how to knit, sew, and enjoys creative DIY projects.

We both really enjoy board games and sports. Nadia loves Bananagrams and Liam is a big fan of card games. Nadia loves to sew, knit and dance. Liam likes sailing, skiing and DIY projects.
