I would like to see the south and west of Europe. In times of Covid this has been restricted more and more. Still, I don't want to give up and traveling alone is only fun for a limited time.

im Frank, 47, grew up on the coast, with a love of the sea, boat builder, father and much more.
In my current job as a preschool teacher/social educator, I am taking another sabbatical year starting this summer 07/2022. Originally I wanted to see the south and west of Europe, maybe sail far to Japan, Vietnam, New Zealand, but the Serra de Tramuntana in Mallorca enchanted me. And the longing, friendship and love drives me back here again and again. Deia is one of those magical places.

I like working with wood and my hands, doing repairs, physical work and using my creative side. Being a workawaywer for me is not just having a place and food, but a mutual exchange of experiences and culture.

I have worked in Scotland before, repairing an old house and dry stone walls there, glazing and repairing windows in a manor house, realigning doors, bricklaying and whitewashing walls. I worked as an entertainer in the children's area in Schweitz doing evening smaltalk with guests, cleaned toilets as a cleaner and worked as a housekeeper. Grown beans, potatoes and corn in my own garden - so my own daughters could see where it all came from. I love gardening, especially when my hands have contact with earth. I like languages and dialects and love to learn.

I like to be out and about, whether hiking, biking, or taking mass transit, and realize how good it is to be outside. I am drawn to other countries to experience cultures, people, languages. I like to be around people, but don't focus on parties and nightlife.
I like to be enchanted by landscapes and love the sea and the mountains equally. I like to swim in a mountain lake, be on the beach with a guitar, sit by the fire and talk or just enjoy the silence.
Even though I have a limited amount of time, I don't want to rush through the world on my trip just to see everything.

Traveling alone is only fun for a limited time and so I am happy when I find a travel buddy.

Ich bin Frank, 47. An der Küste aufgewachsen, mit der Liebe zum Meer, Bootsbauer, Vater und vieles mehr.
In meinem derzeitigen Job als Vorschullehrer/Sozialpädagoge lege ich ab diesen Sommer 07/2022 wieder ein Sabbatjahr ein. Ursprünglich wollte ich den Süden und Westen Europas sehen, vielleicht weit nach Japan, Vietnam, Neuseeland schippern, aber die Serra de Tramuntana auf Mallorca hat mich verzaubert. Und die Sehnsucht, Freundschaft und Liebe treibt mich immer wieder hierher zurück. Deia ist einer dieser magischen Orte.

Ich arbeite gerne mit Holz und meinen Händen, führe gerne Reperaturen durch, mag körperliche Arbeit und setze gerne meine kreative Seite ein. Workawaywer zu sein bedeutet für mich nicht nur, einen Platz zu haben und Verpflegung, sondern einen gegenseitigen Austausch von Erfahrungen und Kultur.

Ich habe schon in Schottland gearbeitet, dort ein altes Haus und Trockensteinmauern repariert, in einem Gutshaus geglasert und Fensterrepariert, Türen neu ausgerichtet, Wände gemauert und gekalkt. Ich habe in der Schweitz als Entertainer im Kinderbereich gearbeitet und Abends mit den Gästen Smaltalk betrieben, als Reinigungskraft Toiletten gereinigt und als Haushaltshilfe gearbeitet. Im eigenen Garten Bohnen, Kartoffeln und Mais angebaut - damit die eigenen Töchter sehen wo alles herkommt. Ich liebe Gartenarbeit, insbesondere wenn meine Händen kontakt mit Erde haben. Ich mag Sprachen und Dialekte und lerne gerne dazu.

Ich bin gerne unterwegs, ob wandern, Fahrrad oder Nahverkehr und merke, wie gut es ist, draußen zu sein. Es zieht mich in andere Länder, um Kulturen, Menschen, Sprachen zu erleben. Ich bin gern unter Menschen, konzentriere mich aber nicht auf Partys und Nachtleben.
Ich mag es, von Landschaften verzaubert zu werden und liebe das Meer und die Berge gleichermaßen. Ich mag es in einem Bergsee zu schwimmen, mit der Gitarre am Strand zu sein, am Feuer zu sitzen und zu reden oder nur die Stille zu genießen.
Auch wenn ich nur eine begrenzte Zeit habe, möchte ich auf meiner Reise nicht durch die Welt eilen, nur um alles zu sehen.

Alleine zu reisen macht nur für eine begrenzte Zeit Spaß und so freue ich mich wenn sich ein Reisebuddy findet.
