Hi, I’m Muskan (Moose)!

I’m a film student at VCA (University of Melbourne), currently travelling through Turkey and looking for meaningful Workaway experiences.

I’ve worked in hospitality, creative projects and events, so I’m very comfortable helping wherever needed - whether that’s practical tasks, working with people, or contributing to a shared space.

I take responsibility seriously and as a learning experience. I show up and follow through. I’m organised, adaptable, and respectful of people’s homes. I understand the effort that goes into hosting and I value clear communication.

I enjoy learning through doing. I’m especially interested in:

• language learning (currently improving my Turkish)
• creative work (film, photography, storytelling)
• sustainable living and hands-on projects (DIY, renovation)
• working socially - with tourists, or kids or families

I’m travelling to experience new environments, meet people, and learn practical skills. I enjoy both quiet and social environments - I can integrate into different kinds of households easily. The strongest factor of us humans is our adaptability, and evolution comes from change and diversity. I am evolution.

I’m friendly, curious, and bring good energy, but I also respect space and routines.

My goal with Workaway is simple:
to contribute properly, learn something new, and leave the place better than I found it.

Skills & things I’m actually good at:

- Hospitality experience (bars, events, guest-facing roles) — I’m comfortable with people, long hours, and staying calm when things get busy
- General help around the house or property (cleaning, organising, cooking, tidying, basic upkeep)
- Following routines and instructions, and also figuring things out without needing constant direction
- Caring and spending time with kids/elders/family members. Culturally hospitable, kind and patient. Empathetic.
- Customer service & communication — clear, friendly, and direct
- Creative work: writing, basic filming, editing, social media, helping with creative projects if needed
- Event support (set-up, pack-down, helping things run smoothly, moving furniture)
- Working independently and being trusted to get things done (leadership viiiiibes)
- Being reliable once I commit (showing up, on time, and doing what I said I would do, because why not)
- Adapting quickly to new environments and different ways of living
