Description
❗️**NOT A HOLIDAY. A REAL ADVENTURE.
We’re not a community for people in difficulty, and we’re not a campsite for holidays. We’re looking for people who want to get involved, get their hands dirty, contribute, learn, and experience a completely different way of life.
It can be tough, uncomfortable, and challenging — but that’s also what makes it rewarding.
If you’re looking for comfort, this probably isn’t for you.
If you’re looking for adventure, connection, challenge, and something real, welcome.
OLIVE HARVEST SEASON IS HERE!
We’re now entering one of the most intense and special periods of the year: olive harvesting.
We’re looking for people who want to experience it together with us — working outdoors, getting their hands dirty, sharing the rhythm of rural life, and being part of the whole process from tree to harvest.
It’s physical, sometimes tiring, but incredibly satisfying.**❗️
Hello everyone! We are Ayeshah & Elia with our growing family of animals, Kuma, Lana, India (dogs) and our four cats!
As from here you can already tell we are real animal lovers so if you're reading this and feel a spark in your heart this may be a perfect place to volunteer.
Ayeshah is a calm, empathic and sensitive person. She loves music, walks in nature, deep conversations, animals and art.
Elia is a curious, energetic, motivated person who loves nature and animals too. He loves gardening and plants, especially magic ones.
Together we enjoy listening to reggae music, traveling and discovering new places and learning new things from people and our surroundings as we are two very curious people.
Our land is 2.4 hectares and you can already find an amazing variety of flora and fauna.
Our goal together has always been to become auto sufficient and be surrounded by what really is good for our spirit: nature, fresh air, a simple life & a quiet place to live, we ended up here by van & still live in our van in a small piece of paradise, as we still have to build a house. At the moment we have two containers to store food and tools, one of our goals is to build a terrace and a new common area where to cook and relax. -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We are open minded people who love connecting with different cultures, we speak 3 languages fluently and are open to share our knowledges and an eventual exchange of learning more.
Another part of the exchange will be cooking together and sharing recipes from our countries.
In these months we've learnt many things about this area so if you're a curious person we can share some info about history, nature and traditions that were told to us by our neighbor, a typical Andalusian farmer who you'll surely get to know. -
Help
WHAT WE ASPECT FROM YOU
The most important task is taking care of the place and animals whenever we’re away, as well as if we're physically present but running errands at home. We need people who are autonomous, responsible, and trustworthy.
Main & important tasks:
Keeping shared areas clean and tidy, washing dishes, and taking care of daily routines
Maintaining the compost toilet and emptying it when needed
Picking up dog poop when you see it
Gardening and daily care of the vegetable garden and plants
Taking care of our chickens
Painting, creative projects, and DIY
Joining bigger projects and working as a team WHEN NEEDED
We believe unity is strength, so we love sharing skills, learning from each other, and getting our hands dirty — both physically and creatively.
We host up to 4 people, with a maximum of 2 vans/campers, plus backpackers with tents.
You’ll fit in best here if you’re adaptable, motivated, creative, empathic, open-minded, reliable, and genuinely love animals.
Our neighbour has many animals, especially dogs, and we live in a sort of old-style open farm environment. Some dogs are free at the moment and guard the land and us, so you may hear them at night.
For now, due to the delicate situation with the animals, we cannot host volunteers travelling with pets. -

Accommodation
COMMON AREA
Our common area at the moment is composed by a kitchen, sofas to chill out & 2 containers. One for food storage, that will also be equipped with a fridge and an electrical system for you to be able to charge any equipment and where the internet will be fixed stably to, and one for tool storage. It's a work in progress project, by the end of summer we'd like to build a terrace.
We have built a compost toilet that is already in use and the outside shower is also on its way.
TENT
We have the availability of a tent for 2 with an inflatable mattress, we will provide linen. If you have your own you are also welcome to bring it! We have lots of space!
What we offer:
- Safe place to park and stay, surrounded by nature and animals.. ideal for vans, campers & tents
- One meal a day together offered and cooked by us, it will depend on our schedule, but it's surely lunch or dinner
- Breakfast & the second meal of the day will be yours to provide independently but you may use the kitchen and equipment (tools & spices) in the common area and serve yourself with the basic aliments we provide (coffee, tea, biscuits, oatmeal, cous cous, rice & legumes)
- Seasonal fruit & vegetable from our land
- Relaxing environment with the possibility of experiences like horseriding, foraging, dog walking
- Gas for cooking
- Ride into town when we go shopping
We do not have black water/potty disposal (closest service area for campers/van is a 20 minute drive from the land). -
What else ...
Our land is about 5km from the nearest town which offers many services and shops, you can walk to the centre in about 50 mins or 20 by bike. To get here there is an off-road track of sand and stones, accessible all year round, with no risks of getting stuck and no size problems.
You will be properly introduced to the land & the animals living in the finca and we'll be sharing the main rules to live in harmony with them and us on first arrival
(respect of spaces, tools & people, tidy up after working, keep places & things clean).
WHAT TO DO IN THE AREA
- beach trips to Mazagon y Matalascanas
- visit the unique village of El Rocio
- walks around pine & eucalyptus forests
- not to far from us there are hikings & a lake
