Description
I’m motivated by learning through real experiences and connecting with people from different backgrounds. I feel happiest when I’m able to contribute to a community, learn new skills, and see things from perspectives different from my own.
I enjoy simple daily routines, working with others toward a shared goal, and having meaningful conversations, even over small things like cooking or taking a break together. Being in nature, helping others, and feeling that my work is useful give me a strong sense of satisfaction.
I’m also motivated by personal growth—challenging myself in new environments helps me become more flexible, patient, and open-minded. Through Workaway, I hope to learn not only practical skills but also about different ways of living and thinking.

I’m very interested in both learning and teaching languages. As a native Japanese speaker, I enjoy helping others learn Japanese through daily conversation, basic grammar, and cultural exchange. I also like learning languages myself, because it helps me understand different ways of thinking and communicating. I can communicate in English at a daily conversation level, and I’m happy to practice through conversation and shared activities. For me, language learning is not only about words and grammar, but also about building connections with people from different cultures.

More details about your skills
I have experience with basic household tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and helping with daily routines. I have lived in a shared house before, so I am used to sharing spaces, respecting rules, and cooperating with others.
I have experience teaching language grammar at a cram school, mainly supporting students with explanations and practice. At university, I am studying psychology as my main major, and Japanese language education as a minor. I am currently learning how to teach Japanese to non-native speakers, including basic grammar and communication support.
I can create simple materials using PowerPoint and Word, such as worksheets or presentations. I am comfortable with basic computer tasks and organizing information clearly.
I also have volunteer experience supporting children at camps, where I helped with activities, daily care, and emotional support. Through this experience, I learned how to be patient, attentive, and supportive of children in group settings.
Moreover, I worked at a specialty coffee bean shop, where I made hand-drip coffee and served customers.
I am a native Japanese speaker and can communicate in English at a daily conversation level.
