About us

Hi! We are Mehdi and Antoine, two French backpackers from Brittany. Currently traveling in Australia, we love exploring new cultures, meeting people, and sharing great moments. We are outgoing, positive, dynamic, and always eager to learn new things.

We are open to all kinds of projects—whether it’s working, learning, or simply having enriching experiences together.

Our skills and experience

Mehdi

• Cooking: 3 seasons as a kitchen assistant, and I have a few recipes up my sleeve, especially authentic Breton crêpes!
• Gardening, landscaping, construction, and DIY: various experiences, including in Australia.
• Farm work: harvesting and general agricultural tasks.
• Working with children: babysitting, internships in primary schools, and organizing activities. I want to become a primary school teacher, so I love keeping kids entertained and engaged.

Antoine

• Hospitality: 3 summers working as a waiter, where I developed strong people skills and adaptability.
• Gardening, construction: hands-on experience, including projects in Australia.
• Farm work: harvesting and other fieldwork.
• Creativity: I’m passionate about drawing and can help with creative projects like murals or decoration if needed.

Our interests

• Music: we play a bit of guitar and other instruments, and we enjoy sharing musical moments.
• Fun activities: board games, outdoor games, or simply chatting and exchanging ideas.
• Nature and exploration: we love discovering new places, especially natural environments like mountains, forests, and beaches.

Our motivation

We are ready to help with a wide variety of tasks:
• Gardening, painting, and DIY projects.
• Cooking and cleaning.
• Childcare and organizing activities.
• Learning and discovering new skills.

Work with animals if possible !!!

We speak English well but are keen to improve even more!

Practical information

• We don’t have a car but can travel by bus or train.
• Currently near Sydney, we are flexible with dates and available as soon as possible.
