Description
Graeme and Jenni are the owners of the property, and their son Harvey (me) and his partner Saki currently live there as well. As a family we have all travelled widely over the world and enjoy meeting people from all walks of life.
The property is 37 acres of bushland and paddock being rehabilitated as part of an ongoing permaculture project, including 2 waterholes for swimming. There is also an orchard producing peaches, plums, apples, figs, and other delicious organic fruit and vegetables depending on the season. A yoga studio and retreat centre is also on the property, providing yoga, meditation and sound healing.
We are generally relaxed, peaceful and love to chat. We're sure that all volunteers will feel very welcome and their work valued. Please enquire with any questions!Types of help and learning opportunities

Volunteers will get a true perspective on how an eco-conscious family lives in rural Australia. We look to share our knowledge and passion of tree planting and permaculture techniques, of yoga, and practices for a healthy happy life. In return we look forward to sharing stories and hearing from travellers about their home countries, and look forward to any skills that can be taught to us!

This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
Help
We require help with gardening, watering, planting trees, building a shed and general maintenance tasks like weeding and cleaning that can vary on the day. We ask for 3-4 hours work a day with 2 days off per week in return for accommodation and 1 meal per day. We have no minimum or maximum stay length but will depend on how we all get along. If its good for everyone we're happy for you to stay long term. Only rules are no parties and all meals provided will be vegetarian. Volunteers are able to cook meat outside on a provided BBQ if required, although vegetarians are preferred. Any help offered for cooking meals will be highly appreciated!
