Description
Hi, We are Matt and Jess, we are from Scotland, UK. Both qualified teachers who loves outdoors and nature. Currently on a cycle trip around the world together, which started in Nordkapp, Norway and we have cycled 7000km to Turkey. Matt has carpentry skills and is musician. Jess is DIY handy and loves gardening. We love foraging, fermenting and learning new skills.
We are taking a year out from teaching and are looking forward to finding a workaway to learn more about the cultures we are travelling to, learn new skills and use our varied skillset to help others.

We are both practical people with a lot of experience and quick learners. We both have carpentry, DIY and gardening experience.

We both have a varied skillset, having lived and worked in different countries as teachers, including Ecuador and China. In our spare time, we like to go camping, hiking, skiing and do cycle tours. We like to take on new adventures, for example, we have cycled the length of Japan and hiked Everest Base Camp. We have a lot of experience and are always wanting to learn new skills.
