Description

I'm Martha, I'm 20 and looking to do some travelling this year, hopefully doing a mixture of working and exploring new places, as well as meeting lots of new people along the way! After hearing all my parents travelling stories and backpacking through Thailand and Vietnam this past year, I've realised that I'd like travelling to be a primary part of my life for at least the next few years. I love to feel the outdoors and experience culture, living like a local and seeing everything I can like a tourist.

More details about my language interests
I am fluent in English, with a 140 hour teaching English as a Foreign Language qualification. This course involved specialised modules on teaching individuals, teaching large classes and teaching children. I speak beginner - intermediate French, however this is something I have not had chance to practice outside of the classroom and would love to work on, especially in terms of accent. I am also half dutch so would benefit greatly from learning the language so that I can speak to family more easily!

I have a 140 hour Teaching English as a Foreign Language qualification, something I would love to make more use of and practice regularly. I am also a very creative person and am especially interested in art history, something of which I am currently studying online, I would love to see the art galleries and famous works in your area. I also very much enjoy cooking and trying local cuisines!

I live in the English countryside in the Peak district, an area famous for it's hills, hence I enjoy the outdoors and hiking. I am quite active and also very much enjoy yoga.
