Hello,I am Fer, well, my complete name is Maria Fernanda, but people can call me Fer or MariFer. I am Mexican, I am from the northern part of Mexico, Sonora, but currently living in North Carolina in the United States. I work as an English and Spanish as a second language teacher, and started giving YIN Yoga classes, both really fulfilling experiences.
I've been working as a teacher for 17 years so far.I have taught all levels and ages.
I consider myself a helpful person, funny and always willing to meet new people and cultures.
As travelers, it is awesome how we can see these impressive places where locals sometimes just see routine.
Lately, I have been having this strong feeling on volunteering outside my country.
Traveling with a cause. As I am a teacher, I will like to teach in a different culture, learn and experience the way of living in a different place , and maybe leaving a small piece of me that hopefully can help, but taking a piece from the people and the country as well. Learning from each other.
I will want to help in different areas though, I consider myself the kind of person that if don't know how to do a certain job, will try my best to learn how to do it and do my best.

I think it is nice and sometimes even necessary to learn a new thing once in a while or why not every day, doing more of what you like is something fascinating, and for while I am trying to follow this idea.
Besides teaching languages, I have been practicing Yoga for two years so far, I just love it and now I can't see myself not practicing, and why not in the future maybe become a yoga instructor.
Traveling, of course, is another passion and as I travel I am trying to learn something new from the place I am visiting, like one day I went to a Capoeira class for the first time or maybe learning how to cook "arepas" a typical dish from Colombia. Like mentioned before, is all about learning from each other.
