Hello my name is Malou, I am 21 years old and I live in Germany. I am very motivated to work in another country, get to know another culture and to improve my language skills.I am open minded, learn fast, motivated, helpful, cheerful, uncomplicated and adaptable. Furthermore i speak englisch, french and german fluently. In my freetime I do sports ( especially running and dancing), love meeting friends, enjoy time in the nature, play the guitar and ukulele and like reading and I play soccer. As I mentioned I have experience in working in a hospital (I also worked three years as a paramedic in a honoaray post (besides school)) and working with kids (I worked 6 months in a childcare as a minijob). For 10 years I did horseback riding on a farm and helped there with the dayly work like feeding the animals, cleaning their places and finishing the harvest. All this was always a big pleasure for me.
I have experience with working and living in another country (The last 4 months I lived in Cameroon and worked there in a little hospital and a few months ago I went back there to visit my friends and to do an internship there for my studies and stayed for another 2 months)In Cameroun I learned speaking French (I reached an B2/C1 level). In this time I collected many enriching and unvorgettable moments and now I would like to continue with experiencing other cultures. I already have some experience with Workaway. I worked on a farm in Ireland for three months and had a wonderful time there. I took care of the sheep, horses, and the dogs. I also helped with the children. My second experience with workaday worked perfect as well, I worked in a surf- hostel for 2 months. My work there included teaching Yoga, taking pictures of the guests while surfing and helping in the kitchen. Two years ago I moved out of my hometown and started studying medicin in Münster what I still do. In my freetime I work with an Organisation that takes care of people who lives on the street and don‘t have a home, I there do the management of the donations and the organization as well and I am part of the leading positions in this organisation. I live in a big shared apartment with 10 other people and that works really well.
I love meeting new people and I am motivated to exchange our cultures and experiences!

I learned englisch at school for 10 years and I am a big fan of the language. I love reading and watching films in english. I am able to teach english. My french isn't as good as my english or german. It became pretty good the last four months in Cameroon where I only spoke french. I am german, in matter of facts I speak fluent german, it is my mother language. I am always motivated to help someone learning a new language. The other way around I like learning a new language (no matter which language) or improving the languages i already know.

I am athletic and hardworking. I speak english, french and german fluently. Learning new stuff is no problem for me, far from it, I enjoy learning new things and I am always motivated and learn fast. I have experience in working with kids and taking care of them, I helped on a farm for many years in my freetime and also spend a lot of time with working with the horses and horseback riding. I did horsebackriding for 10 years. On the farm I helped feeding the animals, cleaning their places and finishing the harvest. I know playing the guitar and ukulele. Cooking is also a hobby of me. For three years i worked in an ambulance as an honorary post besides school.
I am uncomplicated in living and like meeting new people. The last year I finished school (gymnasium) and received the so called "Abitur" (final secondary school-examination).

The last four months I lived in Cameroon and worked there in a little hospital. It was an incredible experience that i will never forget. It was a good opportunity to improve my french skills there and I became more confident and self-independend there. It is awesome to get to know another culture and to have the exchange with the people there!

Malou was a super volly for us, so full of energy, respectful of local culture and people. She was a perfect fit for our social hostel, bring such a perfect balance of chill, friendliness and party energy. Kind of wish she didn’t decide to keep travelling! She’s welcome back anytime!

I had an unforgettable and great time in this hostel. Everyone working there is super nice and friendly, you will feel home very fast. My experience of volunteering 2 months here -
I just had one of the most incredible times of my life during my stay here. I already travelled a lot but rarely felt so good and welcomed somewhere else. All the people working here are so kind and gentle, trying to let you feel home.
My tasks were teaching Yoga (not too much, like every second day, … read more it depended of the guests, sometimes one week each day and then for a couple of days nothing), taking pictures in the morning for round about 2 hours, I helped in the kitchen (in the morning and evening ( it was not too much work, more just putting the plates and everything on the table and after eating helping to clean). I also managed a bit the Instagram account, uploading videos and pictures, editing some pictures and videos, making nice reals and so on.
All in all I would say I worked between 3 and 5 hours, it really depended how many guests they had and if there were Yoga lessons. They also really pay attention that you get your day of and sometimes I had more than one day of when there were no guests that wanted pictures.
You can surf every day after taking the pictures because then you have free time. You can choose if you want to go surfing or do something else. For me the surfing was very important so I surfed every day and the surf instructors helped me a lot and gave me good tips. When we had nice guests I chilled with them, went to dring a juice or just went alone by myself enyoing the good weather. You can be sure to meet so many other people as well, the people in Tamraght and Taghazout are very open minded, the locals as well as the tourists so you will make a lot of other friends as well if you want to.
I saw a lot of nice places: Paradise valley, Agadir, Thagazout, Tamraght, Ansa and Imsouane. The food is just amazing, I don’t know how to handle eating something else than this good cooked food here when I go home.
In the evenings I either went out with friends or guests but usually I stayed with the other instructors and guest on the terrasse, enyoing a Shisha, playing music, singing, playing cards and talking.
The weather was very good, it doesn’t rain a lot here (during my stay it was maybe 3 days it total. When I had a problem or question I could always talk to Yassine and Sara (the chefs) and they helped me.
I already did volunteering work in other places and this was the best so far. I felt very healthy, was a lot outside, had freetime, the work was not too much and even when I had to work it was nice work. I can recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a good time in Morocco, as a guest or as a workawayer!
I will miss this place a lot, thank you so much for this incredible time, I will defenetely come back.

Malou stayed with us for almost 2 months. She was amazing! She helped us with actually everything around the house. She took a pictures of our guests, helped in the kitchen, she was teaching yoga classes, writing blog,..
She is such a nice and lovely person. She just left few days ago and everyone at the house already missed her so much!
