Hey everyone :)
I’m super excited for my first solo trip to Asia — I’ll be in Sri Lanka in November and in Thailand in December! I love meeting new people, discovering different cultures, doing yoga, surfing, and finding great food spots. I’m an open-minded, friendly and tolerant person who loves connecting with people from all walks of life. Back home in Germany I work as a yoga teacher, which has taught me a lot about patience, communication and creating a positive atmosphere. I also have experience working in the service industry, and I did a Workaway in a school in Nepal, where I helped with English lessons and daily activities. I enjoy learning new things and I’m always happy to lend a hand wherever it’s needed!

Maggie stayed with us for almost a week, and we truly had a wonderful time with her. She supported our project in every possible way whether it was working with the children, visiting schools, or helping with household responsibilities. I spent a week at the Foundation and what can I say: it was simply wonderful!
It’s a place where you can truly feel that the children are happy, eager to learn, and that you can become an active part of it.
I was moved several times by the amazing personalities of the children and the visits to the schools were great as well!

I volunteered for a week at the dog shelter in Trincomalee. It’s truly incredible what Conny and the team have created there for the animals.
It’s hard not to fall in love with the dogs – they are such soft souls who ask for love and attention and are simply lovely.
