Hello there! My name is Meghan and I have been working as a gardener in the US for the past 3 years but would love the opportunity to help out on a working farm! I am traveling about looking to learn more about sustainable farming practices as well as permaculture principles through hands on experiences. I have a Bachelors degree in agricultural/plant science and am very comfortable working outdoors in the field.

I am a light hearted and hard working person excited to get my hands dirty. In my free time I love to be outdoors whether sitting in a park reading, hiking/trail running, playing frisbee, biking or just walking around a new part of town; I love to be outdoors. My parents say I have a problem sitting still but I think I just try to make the most of the moment at hand.

I loved hosting fellow agricultural scientist and garden enthusiast Meghan. She took responsibility for the garden and planted out lots of different vegetables for us. It was a shame she couldn't stay longer. She was friendly and responsible and fitted in well with the team.

You know you've had a wonderful stay when its difficult saying goodbye and I was quite sad to leave Elaine and Damien's after two short weeks.
