Zdravo,

I'm Luka from Split, Croatia and I am currently on my gap year from studies - my goal for this year is to try out as many new things as possible and figure out what makes me truly happy.

I'm an energetic, talkative but reliable person - I stand behind the saying that good teamwork begins and ends with good communication!

I love being active and trying out new things - that led me to having a lot of hobbies: playing guitar, photography, triathlon (swim > bike > run), cooking, reading books, working with youth, programming, enjoying music, and more... I could talk about each one them for days, but this app doesn't allow me to write essays here...

Nature is the place where I enjoy spending my time the most (a bit ironic because I study computers). Nothing beats a good hike and then a deep conversations around a campfire - those are the things I live for! I believe I’m an adventurous person who doesn't always know what he’s doing until it’s too late to quit - although this “philosophy” led to the best adventures in my life so far!

Also I can't live without a daily routine. Right now when I'm at home, I usually spend mornings running and then cooking, afternoons working or learning, and evenings I spend outside - I'm generally an early bird (going to sleep with the sun and waking up early!) I know that during traveling keeping a routine is a difficult task, but still I always try to have one...

For me traveling means going somewhere, and surrounding myself with local culture, people, language, folklore... Basically, I want to become a member of the community or family where I'm travelling to, and during my short stay, live like a true local :)
