Hi, I’m Lauren!
I’m a yoga teacher and a high school English teacher! I love people and peace and am really eager to learn more about farming, building and speaking Spanish.
Last summer, I began embodying my virtues by going to India to get my 200 hour ytt. It lead me to many other places and to a deep understanding of my purpose.
I am eager to learn from mother nature and am extremely adaptable and strong, so I’m excited to help with anything that comes up!

Lots of knowledge of English literature. Intermediate Spanish speaker, I can read well but am clunky in conversation. I am hoping to be around Spanish speakers to exercise that muscle authentically.

I don’t have experience farming, but I’m a quick learner :)

My purpose is to teach and for a long time I have known that I am going open my own school, but it seemed far away. It wasn’t until this summer that i realized that if I want to do it, I would have to start moving differently. The world is changing and more and more people are moving into intentional living spaces that honor my values a lot more than the American public education system. This is my first step on taking that journey/ walking that path. I’m trying to learn from other pioneers in the intentional living space while also helping out and adding to all of the abundance.
I am passionate about writing, specifically memoir and creative nonfiction as a means to meet our shadows and author a new path, as well as yoga, meditation and singing!!
I am hoping to find a space where I can learn practical skills like building and farming while also being able to contribute my skills and passions!

What else ...

Kind of weird, but I really love swings of all sorts. I have built swings with my father, growing up, and have always imagined having a ton of swings in my future. If you are interested in building some swings, I would love to help. I am also huge on charades and imposter, that is usually our go to game in debate class when there is free time.
