Description
When I was 17 years old, I travelled outside of Europe for the first time. I travelled to Brazil on my own, to work at a volunteer project with streetchildren in Aguas Formosas (Minas Gerais). This experience opened my eyes, and since then I knew that travelling and working abroad was something for me and I would do it again. After high school I decided to get a degree first, before I would start looking for work/volunteer work abroad. In 2018 I got my university degree in Criminology, and after that I also finished a postgraduate in Forensic Psychodiagnostics and Counseling. After working as a social assistant (with people in prison) for 3 years, I decided to follow my dreams and travel through South America.
I think a can say that I'm a very open-minded person, who is intrigued by the world and wants to see, discover and learn new things.Interests

During my studies I worked as a student for different organisations, for example the University of Antwerp, AGO Jobs & HR, Barchel (catering business). I also volunteered on a yearly basis for a project in Belgium which offers disabled children a yearly holiday in a family context (Kainkamp vzw), and during one month for a project in Brazil that offers children and families, living in the inland slums, opportunities and facilities to develop in many different areas and aspects.
I can co-operate, I am flexible and I have a practical and organizational way of thinking. I was able to evolve these skills during my six-year career as a monitor in the Scouts. My experiences abroad, both my voluntary work in Aguas Formosas (Brasil) and my Erasmus at the University of Porto (Portugal), taught me how to work independent and take initiatives. I'm not afraid to work hard and I don't avoid challenges. I love to work with animals and children, and I'm a big fan of nature as well. I speak English fluently, I can express myself quite well in French and Portuguese and I'm very motivated to learn new languages.Age

What else ...
During my childhood I danced (hiphop and modern) for almost 14 years, and I played the violin for almost 12 years. I've always loved to be creative and went to a school where I had the chance of discovering and learning many different crafts.
I love sport, animals and nature. At first I might come across as a bit shy, but once people get to know me and I get to know them, I'm a very social and caring person. Some more information
