Description
Hi, I'm Lola. I'm a simple person who loves nature, fresh air, and all kinds of adventures. I'm always seeking new experiences. I recently graduated in biology and marine sciences, and I want to contribute to meaningful projects, especially those related to nature conservation, sustainability, and the arts. I'm deeply passionate about the living world and its complexity, but I'm also drawn to artistic expression. I've been painting, sewing clothes, practicing circus arts since I was little, and I'm fascinated by science fiction movies. I'm navigating this chaotic world, trying to stay open-minded and do things that feel meaningful to me. I've been intrigued by New Zealand for a long time and I am dedicating this coming year to discovering this country, its culture, and its many facets.

More details about your skills
My bachelor's and master's studies have allowed me to develop a range of laboratory and scientific skills, along with valuable field experience. I gained practical knowledge through various internships, including fieldwork in Belgium and Corsica, as well as a placement at an institute in Germany where I conducted necropsies on marine mammals.
Outside of university, I've been teaching circus arts to children for the past seven years. Working with kids is something that deeply fulfills me and has helped me develop important skills such as responsibility, organization, resourcefulness and adaptability.
Over the years, my diverse interests have also helped me cultivate soft skills like sewing, cooking, and maintaining a vegetable garden.

What else ...
I'm an active person who practises swimming, aerial silks, climbing, running, hiking, and more. This year, I'm hoping to try surfing for the first time. I value my alone time but I love connecting with people and building meaningful relationships, whether they last less than a day or more.
