For us, travelling is about truly experiencing a place and its people, not just being tourists. We enjoy helping wherever we can and being part of everyday life.

We both love cooking and Lisa adores baking, spending time with kids, doing sports like hiking/soccer and having relaxed evenings together playing games, chatting, and sharing stories. And yes, in some very German ways, we also appreciate punctuality, cleanliness, and keeping things organised. 🙂

Lisa studied Marketing and worked in the field for five years before moving on to work in a children’s and youth residential care home, supporting kids in their everyday life and creating a safe and positive environment for them. Jonas is a Wood Engineer with a practical mindset and hands-on experience.

We both grew up in the countryside, and Lisa grew up on a farm, so we’re familiar with farm life, physical work, and helping wherever needed. We both enjoy cooking and are happy to be part of everyday family life.

Since arriving in Australia, we’ve worked in construction, cafés, and gardening, which has helped us become more adaptable and confident in new environments.

We’re hardworking, reliable, and always open to learning new skills. We genuinely enjoy new experiences, meeting people from different backgrounds, and getting involved wherever we can help.

What else ...

We’re currently at the beginning of our world trip and have spent the last four months in Australia, mainly around Melbourne. During this time, we’ve already had so many great experiences, met wonderful people, and really fallen in love with travelling in a more meaningful and connected way.

We genuinely enjoy being around people, sharing stories, and learning from different cultures and lifestyles. In our free time, we love playing card and board games like Cabo and Wizard, going hiking, exploring nature, staying active, and spending time outdoors.

We’re both huge animal lovers as well — whether it’s dogs, cats, or farm animals, we’re always happy to be around them. Overall, we’re easy-going, curious, and excited for all the new experiences and connections that come with this journey.
