  • Description

My name is Leonie and I am 25 years old. I have just finished my biology degree and am now looking forward to travelling around Spain and Portugal. I am motivated to meet people from different backgrounds, learn new skills and work on meaningful projects. I believe that exchanging knowledge and experiences creates a positive impact for both sides. I am motivated by the opportunity to support someone and learn new things at the same time. I am a big fan of nature and art. Whilst my biology degree was very cerebral, I'm really looking forward to being able to work with my hands over the next few months. I like to spend my free time painting, sewing and doing other creative activities. As well as meeting new people, I also enjoy socialising with animals. I speak german und english fluently and have basic knowledge in french and spanish.

  • More details about your skills

After graduation, I studied architecture for a year. During this time, I was able to acquire skills such as spatial thinking, creative problem solving and manual skills. I then decided to go to Almeria for a month to learn Spanish and develop personally. In 2020 I started studying biology. This gave me a great understanding of plants, animals and people as individuals. Alongside my studies, I also worked for a restorer. By working with antique objects, I learnt to work very precisely, carefully and creatively. I currently work at the Vienna Anatomical Institute and look after a dog once a week. Due to my hobbies in the field of art, I enjoy painting and sewing. When I am not busy with this, I like to spend my time in nature. If my parents need help in their garden, I am always available. I see manual work as a good balance between the very top-heavy work during my studies.
