Description
We are a family with several (foster) children.
We live in the country, though not too far from town in a house with a big garden.
We are looking for someone to help us in the house and garden.

We live in the beautiful dutch country side, close to a number of towns and some cities. We are also close to the german border. This is a nice area. You can go for bike rides, see some dutch culture and relax.
Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
Help
At busy times we mostly are looking for someone who can help in and around the house. (Cleaning, gardening, watching the children etc)
Also we always have building projects going on, so any handy person would be more than welcome to stay! (DIY, painting, masonry etc)
Some cultural exchange is great too!

I stayed here about 10 days, and it was the very satisfying days suely. There were around 5 children when I was there. They were extremely active and lovely. If you don't like children I don't recommend here, but if you do love kids it'll be great!

Jae is a wonderful workawayer!
She stayed with us for nearly two weeks and we enjoyed having her.
She is cheerful, hard working, picks up things easy. We have learnt things from her as well, so it has been a nice learn experience for all.

I stayed here for 2 weeks and really enjoyed myself, their were many workawayers already their when i arrived from all different parts of the world. The work is varied but it is all in the garden ranging from cleaning, painting, digging and car washing. Lunch is always sandwiches and dinner is always something different. What a great time i had with this lovely family. Very well looked after and the children keep you entertained, meal times were amazing so nice to be made welcome into a big family. I would definitely recommend this as a great workaway experience.

My first workaway experience staying with Jen's family two weeks was really nice, they were very kind and familiar, they let me so much freedom and I didnt have to work so much, so I had the opportunity to visit another places.

This was my first time not only workawaying, but also being away from my family and friends. Because of this was I was very homesick and a lot more quiet than I am normally. Jen and Dean were wonderful hosts and were so kind and caring. Definitely a perfect start to my holiday! :)
