Hello, we are Paul and Leon. At the beginning of this year, we both graduated from high school (German Abitur (equivalent to the Australian Year 12 Certificate) and decided to travel before the serious side of life begins.
We are 19 and 20 years old and live in Melbourne. We started our trip on August 20 in Sydney. We are currently working as commercial relocation laborers to earn a living. We want to set aside part of our income for our East Coast tour.
We are both very interested in sports, which is also a big part of our everyday lives. Thanks to our jobs here in Australia and in Germany (logistics), we are used to hard work and are not afraid to roll up our sleeves!
We plan to stay in Melbourne until December 14, 2025, but then we want to have a place to stay over Christmas and, ideally, New Year's Eve as well. We don't have a fixed destination, which is why we are now looking around on Workaway :)

In Germany, we worked for an event and logistics company, handling setup and dismantling, equipment transport, and general site work — often during long shifts and physical tasks.

In Australia, we’ve been working as commercial relocation laborers, doing office and warehouse moves, packing, furniture assembly, and manual handling.

We’re used to hard physical work, team environments, and getting the job done efficiently.
We also have experience with animals such as dogs, cats, and chickens.
