My name is Lea, I’m 26 years old and from Switzerland. In my life, I’ve done many different things. I grew up in a big family (seven people, plus lots of animals and bees) with a large garden. Nature reminds me of home and is the place where I feel most connected to myself.
I also enjoy working with children and spending time with them. For three years, I worked in an animation circus in Switzerland. The circus world fascinated me a lot, so I spent another year working as a light and sound technician in the circus.
I’ve now been traveling for more than a year. I crossed the ocean on a sailing boat, hitchhiked a lot, and I really love meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and living the adventure. -

Hmm, what else…
During this trip, I’ve worked in different Workaways: in a hostel/restaurant in Colombia, on an eco-farm in Guyana, on an old wooden sailing boat in Guadeloupe, and helping to build bungalows in Peru. I really enjoyed all of it.
I like being surrounded by people —cooking together, having good conversations, drinking coffee or mate, and sharing stories and life. -
