Description
Hi there!
My name is Peter - I'm a biology teacher, currently based in Japan. I am fascinated by the world and love to travel, especially when I get to enjoy staying in a community and having purpose while I do so. I think it's a much more rewarding way of exploring other cultures and learning about people - two things I am very motivated by!
I'm a keen problem solver and good with my hand. I like to fix things, make things and work hard! As a science teacher, I'm also always looking for exciting projects that I can use to contextualize my classes with. Teaching is my vocation, and I love teaching anyone anything I know.

More details about your skills
My day job is teaching science at a big secondary school - I have a passion for education and love working with young people. My degree is in Chemistry - niche, I know! I'm a native English speaker and am working actively on my French. I have picked up a few phrases in Arabic, but would love to work on this more.
In terms of practical skills, I'm a keen woodworker; I'm fortunate to have some highly skilled professional friends who have taught me how to wood-turn and make cabinets / furniture. I'd love to scale this up to using carpentry to build structures and buildings. I enjoy practical work of any sort and will enthusiastically turn my hand to anything! Gardening, painting, cleaning - happy to give it my all!
