  • Description

    Hello!
We're Inga (38, endurance coach, competitive cyclist, and sports studio owner) and Laurynas (43, transport engineer with a career in the automotive industry) — two friends from Vilnius, Lithuania, coming to Italy as a team.
Italy holds a special place in our hearts. We've spent a lot of time here already, riding through the mountains, exploring the lakes, and eating far too much good food — and every time we leave, a piece of us stays behind. Coming back always feels less like traveling and more like arriving somewhere we were meant to be.
What we bring as a team
We already know how to work together — we've co-organized several sports training camps from start to finish: building the program, handling marketing, cooking and serving meals for guests, managing logistics, and keeping spaces clean and organized. So hosting-style, hands-on, people-facing work is very familiar territory for us.
We're both deeply happiest outdoors — we walk, run, hike, and love the mountains, and mountain sports are a big part of both our lives. If a host needs an extra pair of hands for anything outdoor-related, we're very much in our element.

    Inga
Studied sociology, then went on to study sport science; has been an athlete her whole life, and that passion eventually grew into becoming a sports studio owner
Endurance coach working with people of all ages and fitness levels — happy to lead general fitness sessions or light workouts for hosts or fellow volunteers, if that's ever useful!
Competitive cyclist (European Gravel Champion, 2024), used to structuring days, managing people, and getting things done efficiently
Passionate about animals — has adopted two rescue dogs and previously cared for a whole family of guinea pigs over the years; looking after animals is a genuine joy, not a chore
Comfortable with physical work, early mornings, and a full schedule
Will spend part of her time on remote online work (to keep her business back home running), so appreciates hosts open to a bit of flexible work-time balance
    Speaks Lithuanian and English

    Laurynas
43, transport engineer, spent most of his career in the automotive industry — strong in planning, logistics, supplier coordination, and leadership
Extremely reliable, punctual, and organized — a "gets it done properly" kind of person
Comfortable with garden and house work: painting, mowing, pruning trees, light construction/renovation (built his own kitchen at home)
Long-time vegetarian, so happy to help with vegetarian cooking
Music lover with a good eye for photography and style
Over a decade of cycling experience, active club member, races gravel and road, trains in camps abroad
Speaks English, Lithuanian, Russian, basic Spanish and German
Curious traveler who researches every destination in depth and plans great routes — useful if there's ever a day off to explore!

    What we're looking for
We'd love to help out in guesthouses or B&Bs — housekeeping, breakfast/meal prep and service, welcoming guests, general upkeep — as well as light gardening and farm work, and tasks around the house (painting, mowing, pruning, small maintenance and renovation projects). We work well independently or as a support team, and we genuinely enjoy hospitality-style environments where we get to interact with guests (and pets!).
We're easygoing, hardworking, and bring good energy wherever we go.
