Description
Hey,
we are Laurie and Kilian. Right now we live in our Van from 1977 and travel through Europe. In Germany we both learned carpenter, so we share the love for wood. Because of the Restauration of our Van, we made a lot of experiences with mechanics, metal, paint and more, so we are both really flexible. We also worked as landscapers a while ago, so we can also help with things in the garden.
For our trip we are searching jobs to learn new things, get in touch with locals and learn the language and culture.
When we‘re not working, we often go bouldering, do sport in general, cook or connect with others, to learn new things.
We are looking forward to meet new people, explore the culture and learn new ways of working.

More details about your skills
During our teaching we learned, that nearly everything can be done with wood. Furniture, constructions, doors, floors and many more things have been part of the teaching in Germany. So we could help building, fixing and restoring everything that is made out of wood. In our van we also carry some basic tools to improvise.
We are also familiar with landscaping, because the dad of Kilian has got its own company and we have been working with him oftentimes. So working with stone and concrete is not new to us either.
Because of the six-year-project of the restauration of our van we learned a lot about working with metal, understanding and repairing mechanics and painting.
Laurie has had an own horse for twelve years, so working with animals and on farms in general is a big interest of us.
It makes us happy to teach stuff. Especially working with wood, but we could also think of teaching the basics of english or french to others.
