Description

Hello! :) My name is Laura, I am originally from Italy, currently living in Portugal - Lisbon has been my home for the past 6 years.

I’ll be traveling Vietnam in March and part of April 2025 and then I’ll stay around South East Asia for few months.

I have a lively and open personality and I love meeting new people and listening to their stories!
I truly believe that our time, our experiences and our culture are the most precious gifts we can exchange with others. What makes Life even better? Music, Art, Hugs and, obviously, Food! ;)

I am very keen to get involved in volunteering activities related to language teaching, learning and exchange and I have previous experiences in teaching languages and working with kids and teenagers - formal and non formal learning environments.

I have a degree in International Relations and Human Rights, experience in working in youth policies, youth participation and active citizeship. Got my master in International Politics.

Something else I am truly interested in is sustainable tourism and traveling. I speak Italian, English, Spanish and Portuguese and I really love learning about languages!

I worked in tourism too, as a tour leader and as a receptionist and I had work experiences in hospitality as well. I am not scared of hard work. ;)

Beside that I have tons of interests - mainly around music and art - and I practice a lot sport: volley and beach volley, hiking, surfing.

My home Country is Italy but I have lived in Ireland, Australia and Portugal.
I have travelled to Spain, France, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, United Kingdom, Nederlands, Belgium, Czech Republic, US, Morocco.
